2023: PDP Guber Candidate Urges Jigawa Electorates to Get PVC

The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Jigawa State, Mustapha Sule Lamido, has appealed to electorates in Jigawa State to register and pick their Permanent Voter’s Card, PVC, ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Mustapha, made the plea on Monday during an engagement session with PDP stakeholders in the State.

He lamented that there are about 20 million uncollected PVCs in the custody of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, with about 33,183 belonging to registered voters in Jigawa.
“As at today, there are about 20 million uncollected PVCs in Nigeria.
“Between June to December 2021 alone, there are 33,183 unclaimed PVCs in Jigawa State,” he said.
The PDP gubernatorial candidate, who is a son to the former Governor of the State, Alhaji Sule Lamido, assured the people of the State that he had already started ‘lobbying’ the presidential candidate of the main opposition, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, calling on him to give special attention to Jigawa if he becomes president.
