PDP Reschedules Governorship, NASS Primaries, Other Congresses

POLITICS DIGEST- New dates have been fixed for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s, State Houses of Assembly (SHOA), the National Assembly (NASS) and Governorship primaries, ahead of next year’s general polls.
This follows the reviewing of the Party’s Timetable and Schedule of Activities for the 2023 general elections, Politics Digest learnt.
It was also gathered that PDP’s National Working Committee, NWC, has already approved the update.

A statement by the Party’s Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, indicates that the main opposition’s Governorship Primaries is slated for Monday, May 23, 2022.
The Senatorial District Primaries for aspirants in the Party holds on Saturday, May 21, 2022, while that of the House of Representatives comes up on Friday, May 20, 2022.
Wednesday, May 18, 2022, is for the State House of Assembly (State Constituency Congress), while Tuesday, May 10, 2022 is for the Local Government Area (LGA) Congress to elect one National Delegate per LGA and one Person living with disability in the 774 Local Government Areas.
