PDP reschedules 96th NEC Meeting to May 10

The 96th National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has been rescheduled, Politics Digest reports.
The meeting was earlier fixed for Thursday, May 5, 2022.
But a press release issued by the Party, on Tuesday, indicated that the NEC meeting is now slated for Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

The 2pm time fixed for the initial meeting, however, was left unchanged.
According to the release, signed by Sen. Samuel Anyanwu, National Secretary of the PDP, the venue of the meeting remains the NEC Hall at PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
“The earlier date clashes with the Local Government Delegate Election involving all members of our Party. All inconveniences are regretted,” it says.
