PHOTO: 48Hrs After, Wike Returns Atiku’s Visit

Rivers Governors, Nyesom Wike, on Wednesday, paid a courtesy visit to Alh. Atiku Abubakar, flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2023 presidential election.
He was accompanied to Atiku’s Abuja residence by notable leaders and officials of the leading opposition.
The Rivers Governor’s visit is coming 48 hours after Atiku stormed his Abuja residence, on Monday.

The duo had both emerged as winner and runner-up at last weekend’s presidential convention of the PDP, held in Abuja.
Atiku, in a social media post, expressed delight over Wike’s visit.
The PDP presidential candidate, wrote on his Facebook timeline: “It was a pleasure to receive His Excellency Nyesom Wike in the company of notable leaders and officials of our great party, the PDP, at my residence today.
“I am proud of the promises that this spirit of camaraderie holds for our party as a united front that guarantees victory in the next election to rescue the country. -AA”
