Police deploys Personnel, Other Operational Assets To Protect Buhari While At Yola
POLITICSL DIGEST – President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to visit Yola, the Adamawa State capital, tomorrow to console the family of the late Ahmed Joda.
Ahmed Joda, a former top federal civil servant, who rose to become what Nigerians called super permanent secretary in the 1970s and who headed the committee that planned Buhari’s transition to the Presidency in 2015, died last Friday at 91.
It became public knowledge earlier in the week that Buhari would be in the Yola home of Ahmed Joda on Friday, August 20, and the state Police Command announced Thursday that it is deploying officers and men and other operational assets to protect the President.
