Politics Digest 2023 Polls Update: INEC Officials Absent as Voters Besiege Wuye Polling Unit

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, are yet to arrive the Wuye Polling Unit, in Abuja Municipal Area Council.
Our Politics Digest correspondent reports that as about 8:05 am INEC Officials were yet to arrive the unit, along with the relevant voting materials.

But voters, in their large numbers, have already besieged the polling unit, waiting patiently to cast their votes.
A team of police officers, at the venue, were seen providing security and guiding voters who approached them for inquiry.
