240 Polling Units Don’t Have Registered Voters – INEC
POLITICS DIGEST – With just less than two weeks to the 2023 presidential poll, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared that there are 240 polling units across the country where there are no registered voters.

The INEC chairman, Professor Mahmoud Yakubu made this known on Monday while speaking d at a meeting with leaders of political parties at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja.
Yakubu said no new registrants chose the polling units and no voters indicated interest to transfer to them during the last continuous voter registration (CVR) exercise, mainly for security reasons.
He said “this means that no elections will hold in these polling units”.
