2023 Polls Update: After Hitches, Accreditation, Voting Begin at Utako Primary School

After a brief delay in the commencement of accreditation, voting exercise has finally begun at the Utako Primary School polling unit, in Abuja Municipal Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.

Politics Digest earlier reported that officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and youth corps members deployed for election duties at the primary school, failed to arrive in time for today’s exercise.
But immediately after their arrival, the accreditation and voting activities were kick-started.
Our reporter observed that some voters were still checking for their names on an INEC Register pasted on the wall of a classroom at the school, up till 11:50 am, while others vote.
