2023 Polls Update: INEC Officials Arrive Garki Hospital Polling Unit Late, Cite Lack of Vehicles

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, tasked with supervising the conduct of today’s general elections at the polling unit closed to Garki General Hospital, in Abuja, are just arriving.

Politics Digest gathered that the INEC officials arrived the venue at about 10:11 am.
This was almost close to 2 hours after accreditation was supposed to commence at various polling units, in the country.
One of the INEC personnel told our Politics Digest reporter that they could not get a vehicle to convey them and their voting materials to the polling unit.
Meanwhile, the total registered voters at the unit is 12, but only two voters were on ground to cast their ballot as at 10:00 am.
