2023 Polls Update: INEC Officials Await Voters as Elections End at Garki PUs

Voting at some polling units, PUs, in Garki district of Abuja has ended.
But in others, officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and corps members on election duties, are still awaiting prospective voters for accreditation and voting before 2:30 pm, Politics Digest learnt.
Few other PUs just started voting, it was learnt.

Our reporter who went round the PUs in Garki saw some INEC officials and corps members relaxing, while others were preoccupied with election activities.
In PU 031 Bakin Kasuwa, only six out of the 12 registered voters turned out for voting.
It was learnt that INEC officials arrived the polling unit at 9:20 am, while voting commenced at about 12:30 pm, immediately the voters started arriving.
At another polling unit by Tantalizers, a popular eatery in Abuja, it was gathered that 42 was the number of accredited voters. But only 27 have so far casted their ballots.
Meanwhile, about 500 voters are still waiting for their turn at the CBN polling unit, while 300 have already voted.
