2023 Polls Update: Sorting of Votes Begins at Alpha Estate PU in Wuye

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and youth corps members have started sorting out the votes of various presidential and National Assembly elections’ candidates, in Polling Unit 166 at Wuye area of Abuja.

The polling unit is located at Alpha Estate, under Gwarimpa Ward, in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
Politics Digest gathered that the number of registered voters at the unit is 425.
But only 94 were accredited and later casted their votes, long before 2:30pm (the time scheduled for voting exercise to end).
Our reporter observed that agents of various political parties who participated in the election, stood closely to the ballot boxes used for the exercise, while a male corps members counted the ballots.
