Presidency 2023: Osinbajo is the best option for APC – Group
POLITICS DIGEST- A group of young Nigerian intellectuals under aegis of Citizens Unite has urged the All Progressives Congress to fill Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as its Presidential Candidate.
The group made the call after launching a mobile application that will grant Nigerians access to Professor Yemi Osinbajo’s bid in 2023.
The event which took place at Sheraton Hotel in Lagos has in attendance youths from the 36 states of the federation.
Convener of the group, Maryam Shettima said the choice for Osinbajo was not on tribal or ethnic ground but on the competence of his person to take Nigeria to the next level.

“The gathering will not stop in Lagos but will take place in each of the geo-political zones ahead of the 2023 election”. Said Shetty while addressing journalists after the event.
She continued that, “Osinbajo who has attained the pinnacle of greatness with professional success, becoming an overseer of a Church as a Pastor, a Professor in the academia and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria in the legal profession. He is a model for young people by carrying them along through mentorship and his humility.
“We are testimonial to his credible integrity when the social investment programme was handled by his office. This has earned him street credibility with the N-Power and Trader Money before the creation of the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs headed by Sadiya Umar Farouk”.
