President MAAUN Group of Universities donates Ambulance to Katsina Varsity
President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo has donated an ambulance to the Federal University Dutsin-ma, Katsina State.
This is the second time Prof. Gwarzo is donating an ambulance to the university after donating a 60-seater luxurious bus to the institution.
Prof. Gwarzo announced the donation when he was speaking at the 7th and 8th convocation ceremony of FUDMA which was held on Saturday 2nd December, 3023 on the university campus.
Prof. Gwarzo who doubles as the President of the Association of African Private Universities (AAPU), lauded the Vice Chancellor of FUDMA, Prof. Armaya’u Bichi for his efforts to bring development to the university.
“I commend the Vice Chancellor of FUDMA, Prof. Armaya’u Bichi for his efforts to bring immeasurable developments to the university, I wish him, staff and students unparalleled success,” he said.

He also used the occasion to congratulate former Governor Ibrahim Shema, Emirs of Daura and Bichi, Alhaji Umar Faruk-Umar and Alhaji Nasiru Ado-Bayero, respectively for being conferred with honorary degrees by the university.
He also elucidated that Barrister Shema as a person who was passionate about education when he held sway as the governor of Katsina State; “he did many things that brought the development of education. One of them was to bring FUDMA University to the state, and he was one of the governors that sponsored some indigenes of the state further their studies.
“In recognition of Barrister Ibrahim Shehu shema’s tremendous contributions in advancing the cause of education, I wish to donate an ambulance to FUDMA,” Prof. Gwarzo said.
The convocation ceremony was attended by the Governor of Katsina state, Dr. Dikko Radda, Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman and many officials from other universities.
Among the Management staff of MAAUN that attended the occasion include the President of MAAUN, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, Vice Chancellor of Franco-British International University (FBIU), Kaduna, Prof. Muhammad Abdullahi Sabo and Vice Chancellor of Northwest University, Sokoto, Prof. Ahmad Ibrahim Maigari among others.
A total of 4, 365 students graduated during the period, out of which, 11 have Ph.D, 168, Masters Degrees, 73 have Professional Diploma, while 149 have Postgraduate Diplomas (PGD).
