Hembe in a press statement issued on Sunday, urged the President to embrace a more direct approach to engaging Nigerians, especially the youths, in mitigating the temporary effects of the administration’s economic policies.
“I commend the efforts you have made to reach out to the masses; however, there is an urgent need for a more direct and proactive approach to address their concerns and restore confidence,” he said.
To avert future protests and mitigate the current hardship, Hembe recommended, “enhanced youth engagement, tansparent communication, direct outreach and continuous monitoring to implement a robust system for monitoring the impact of economic policies and adjusting strategies as needed to mitigate adverse effects on vulnerable populations.”
