Protest: Police Fire Gunshots, Teargas to Clear Roadblocks in Minna
POLITICS DIGEST – Tension gripped Top Medical junction in Tunga, Minna, the Niger State capital, as police fired gunshots into the air and unleashed teargas to thwart protesters’ attempts to block a critical road.
The protesters had attempted to reassemble and mount a roadblock on the busy road, despite initial dispersal efforts by the police.

Politic digest gathered that Security Operatives comprising the police, military, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have taken over perceived hot spots including the Popular Kpakungu Roundabout on Minna-Bida road where protest held early this year.
