Renewed Hope: Thumps up APC, Buhari, Tinubu by Mahmud Muhammad
Without mincing words, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, has demonstrated sportsmanship, commitment and faithfulness, to APC and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over his presence despite state engagements, and to have unveiled the “Renewed Hope” policy document of the APC Presidential candidate.
The Friday, 21st October, 2023 event, which saw the inauguration of the PCC, demonstrates clearly, that with a unified and solid voice, APC is on its way to winning resoundingly, the 2023 general elections.
We therefore use this medium to appeal to all APC stakeholders, party enthusiasts, as well as all Nigerians of conscience, to as a matter of clear vision, consistency, and ingenuousness; so far exhibited by Asiwaju, we should trust and vote APC en-mass for the betterment of the Nigerian state.
We must all put our heads together to promote, campaign and inevitably elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen. Kashim Shettima joined ticket come 2023, because of their passion and consistency over the years to change positively the narratives of Nigeria.
We equally call on the youths and women to see the Tinubu presidency as theirs, because he has provided without being asked, a separate women presidential campaign council and has also included many youths in the PCC. He also stated that at the inauguration of the PCC that he has reserved a “minimum of three cabinet positions for Nigerians under the age of 40, while six cabinet positions will be reserved for under 50 years of age. That means we would be having 3 Ministers under the age of 40 and 6 Ministers under the age of 50.”
He further stated that “20 percent of political appointments at Ministries, Departments and Agencies are going to be reserved for qualified people under the age of 40.” This clearly demonstrates real youth inclusion in governance and we strongly believe in him as is known for a promise keeper by God’s grace.
Nevertheless, we call on the APC, the inaugurated PCC and all the directorates to begin outlining priority areas towards consolidating the already track record of performance of Tinubu and Shettima, and to also work round the clock for the decisive success of the Tinubu/Shettima ticket. Both of them are yearning and keen in prompt delivery of services, altruistic, bold, straightforward, selfless and compassionate to the citizens’ needs.
We therefore join all well-meaning Nigerians to specifically congratulate the APC, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima, as well as all the PCC members – on their mandate we shall stand!
