Coronavirus: House of Reps Wants Visitors Banned From NASS Complex
POLITICS DIGEST – The House of Representatives has asked management of the National Assembly to immediately make arrangements for the testing of entrants to the National Assembly, as well as ban visitors to the complex, as a move against spread of Coronavirus.

The House in a resolution on Wednesday, also urged the federal government to ban public gatherings, including open religious worships, as was recently done in the Vatican and Mecca.
While the Minister of Health is expected to brief leadership of the on a weekly basis over the situation, the House further urged management of airports to put measures in place to reduce crowds at the airports while officials at the borders should be put on red alert.
The House also called for a national day of prayer to seek God’s intervention in the coronavirus pandemic.
These were sequel to adoption of a motion moved under matters of urgent public importance by Hon. Hon. Charles Zakari-Chawai.
