Russia Attacks Ukrainian Capital, Targets Military Assets

POLITICS DIGEST – The Russian government has attacked the capital city of Ukraine in response to the attack on her military jet by the Ukrainian government on Thursday.
Reports have it that the Russian jet was shot after it was seen flying in the Ukraine space shortly after the Russian President ordered his military to prepare for full invasion.

The Russian government has been notoriously resisting the inclination of Ukraine towards NATO as the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Sergei recently, reiterated that: “for us, it is absolutely mandatory to ensure that Ukraine never, ever becomes a member of NATO.”
All efforts to avoid the invasion proved abortive as the Russian President, Vladmir Putin, gave blackout to proposed reconciliatory requests put to him by the USA and other influential world leaders.
