Senator Manu Launches Groundbreaking ICT Training Program in Taraba Central
POLITICS DIGEST- In a bid to empower youth and equip them with essential digital skills, Senator Manu Haruna, representing Taraba Central Senatorial District, has launched another large-scale Information and Communications Technology (ICT) training program for students across his constituency.
This initiative, organized in collaboration with the Centre for National Productivity, builds on Senator Manu’s earlier training programs, which benefited over 1,000 students with starter packs. The current program, spanning five local government areas—Gassol, Sardauna, Bali, Kurmi, and Gashaka—is expected to benefit hundreds more.

Kicking off on Wednesday and concluding on Thursday, the program will provide participants with hands-on training in digital skills and culminate in the distribution of starter packs, including laptops and essential gadgets, to enable them to harness their newly acquired skills effectively.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Hon. Simon Dogari, Director General of Senator Manu’s campaign and representative at the event, emphasized the transformative potential of the training:
“This is not the first time our visionary leader, Senator Manu, has spearheaded such impactful programs. In the past, over 3,000 students across the district have benefited. This training is designed to sharpen participants’ skills and prepare them for the digital age,” Dogari said, urging trainees to take the program seriously.
The event also saw the presence of notable dignitaries, including Hon. Alhassan Hamman Gassol, Hon. Abbas Kaura, Prof. Yushua Ahmed Bali, and Hon. Muslim Aruwa, among others, who praised Senator Manu’s commitment to youth empowerment and capacity building in Taraba Central.
