Sheikh Abduljabbar Kabara Sick, Bleeding, Not Poisoned At Kano Correctional Centre, Says Lawyer
POLITICS DIGEST– Controversial islamic cleric Sheikh Abduljabbar Nasir Kabara is seriously sick to the extent that he’s bleeding at a Correctional facility in Kano.
His lawyer Rabiu Shuaibu Abdullahi confirmed the situation on a phone call with POLITICSDIGEST.
Some disciples of the cleric handling a page Sheikh Nasir Kabara TV on Facebook have alleged that the cleric was poisoned at the correctional centre.
Barrister Rabiu has disowned the statement saying the Sheikh is Sick and bleeding a little blood from his anus but is getting serious medical attention by medical personnels of the correctional centre.
The Kano State Command of Nigeria Correctional Service has disowned the statement that the cleric is sick.

A statement signed by DSC Musbahu K/Nassarawa which read in parts says:
“The attention of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Kano state Command, has been drawn to a malicious and false report in public domain that Kano-based Islamic cleric, Sheikh Abduljabbar Nasiru Kabara, who is in our custody, is seriously ill.
The Service is calling on the general public to debunk and discountenance this falsehood which is a figment of the imagination of the author.
The service wishes to inform the public that the said Sheikh, as well as other inmates of custodial centres in the state are hale and hearty. The Service prioritizes the medical and health welfare of all inmates”.
Abduljabbar Kabara was prosecuted by the state government on allegations of blasphemy against the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW.
An allegation that he denied after one day of issuing an apology to the muslims in the state.
