Shettima Loses Ardent Supporter

The Senator representing Borno Central in the National Assembly, Kashim Shettima, on Saturday, lost one of his famous loyalists.

The former governor of Borno state announced this on his Facebook page, saying: “The news of the demise of Babagana Bura Ashaka has come to us as a shock but it was ordained that every soul shall taste death.
“He was a follower with unshakable faith, a brother who respects everyone, and a son we are all proud of. Ashaka has paid his dues.”
Ashaka died in Maiduguri on Saturday after a protracted illness, and was prayed upon and buried.
Shettima prayed to Allah to grant his family the patience to bear the loss and l for the repose of the deceased.
