Sowore Laments Fate of Nigerians In IDP Camps

The publisher of Sahara Reporters and presidential aspirant on the platform of African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has lamented the fate of Nigerians in Internally Displaced Persons’ (IDP) camps across the country.
Sowore accused the government of being insensitive to the plight of the IDPs.

He added that the huge number of IDPs in Nigeria are being badly treated by the government.
He wrote in a statement posted on his social media handles: “Nigerians in IDP camps are abandoned to their fate everywhere. Nothing came close to the emotion I felt during my visit to an IDP camp in the Bakassi Area of Cross River State. Despite billions raised and budgeted to take care of these citizens, they had nothing to show for it.
“I also visited IDPs in Adamawa, Taraba, Edo and Benue, and during my visit I concluded that Nigerians are governed by their real enemies.”
