Students Laud Ketare District Head for Attracting development to Katsina Communities
POLITICS DIGEST- The Kanwan Katsina and District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara has called on Kastina students to concentrate on their studies as leaders of tomorrow.
Alh. Bello Kankara spoke when the newly-elected officials of the National Association of Katsina State Students, NAKSS, Kaduna Polytechnic Chapter, paid him a courtesy visit in his palace.
He advised the new NAKSS’ officials to desist from acts such as drug abuse, cultism and other forms of social vices, that could tarnish their image.
The Kanwan Katsina, who said he is always delighted seeing students engaging in unionism, recalled that he was the Secretary General of the Kaduna State Students’ Union during his days at the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, Zaria.

While thanking them for the visit, Alh. Bello Kankara, charged them to be focused in their studies and avoid keeping bad company at all times.
Earlier in his address, the newly-elected NAKSS’ President of Kaduna Polytechnic, Comrade Ahmed Abdullahi Saulawa, said they were at the palace of the prominent Kastina monarch to pay homage and introduce themselves as the new officials of their Association.
Saulawa described the Kanwan Katsina as a loving father who always supports and attends their associations programs, regularly.
He informed the traditional ruler that their association is planning to organize the annual ‘Katsina Day’ early next year, which he will be invited to as the royal father of the day.
The student-leader commended the Ketare District Head of attracting development to the people of his communities in the areas of education, ICT, road construction, health, agriculture, and among others.
