Sudan Lost More Than 80 People To Flood
POLITICS DIGEST – More than 80 people have been killed by flood in Sudan since the beginning of the rainy season in July.
The spokesman for Sudan’s National Council for Civil Defence disclosed that ‘’84 people had died and 67 injured.”

The torrential’ rains have affected at least 14 of the 18 provinces, with over 30,000 houses destroyed, Crops and public infrastructure have also been affected.
The UN estimates that at least 102,000 people have been affected by heavy rains and flooding across the country.
Last year, Sudan declared a national state of emergency for three months because of flood that killed about 100 people, affected over 600,000 people and destroyed more than 100,000 homes.
