Supreme Court declares Fubara duly elected Rivers governor
POLITICS DIGEST- The Supreme Court has declared Sim Fubara as the duly elected Governor of Rivers State.

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2023 election in Rivers State, Patrick Tonye-Cole had challenged Fubara’s victory in the poll.
But the Supreme Court, on Thursday, declared Fubara validly elected.
This is coming amid his crisis with the former Rivers state governor, who is now the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike.
