Supreme Court Affirms Elections of Niger, Abia, Delta, Taraba Govs

POLITICS DIGEST – The Supreme Court has upheld the victories of Governors Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger state, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state and Darius Dickson Ishaku of Taraba state in the 2019 governorship election in their respected states.
The highest court in the country dismissed the appeal of Mohammed Nasko of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Niger state and affirms Bello’s reelection as the state governor
The Court has also dismissed the appeal of Great Ogboru and the All Progressives Congress(APC) challenging the Okowa’s victory in Delta.
