Tinubu has Agreed to Pick a Muslim Running Mate – Ganduje Rallies Kano Clerics

The Governor of Kano State Abdullahi Ganduje has said that the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant Ahmed Bola Tinubu has agreed to pick a Muslim running mate.

He made the statement at the Kano State Government House on Friday while meeting with 100 notable clerics as part of activities to mark Eid-el-Kabir.
Ganduje said that they advised Tinubu to go for a Muslim-Muslim candidacy and he agreed.
He said: “A Muslim-Muslim ticket is a reality. It is not something new in Nigeria.”
He urged the clerics to pray to Allah to grant victory to Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election.
