Tinubu’s Aide Organizes Football Competition to Unite Borno Youths

President Bola Tinubu’s Senior Special Assistant on Administration and Office Coordination (Office of the Vice President), Dr. Usman Mohammed Shettima, has organized a football tournament in Biu Local Government Area of Borno State.
The competition, which has sixteen participating teams, was kicked off by the former Chairman of Biu LG, Yamta Gur, alongside other stakeholders at Maimusa Stadium, on Sunday.

In his remarks, Dr. Shettima said that one of the ways to easily unite the youths, regardless of religious, regional, and tribal sentiments, is through football. Hence, he organized the tournament for Biu youths.
“I want you to always prioritize peace and never join hands with the enemies of our great country to start any forms of trouble. Help each other and only engage in that which is beneficial to you and your communities.”
Mr. Gur, expressed happiness over Dr. Mohammed Shettima’s continued commitment to supporting young people in different aspects of life and described him as a son of the soil.
On his part, the coordinator of the competition, Ibrahim Bunu (BB), extended his appreciation to the organizer.
“Dr. Usman is one person who talks minimally and acts maximally towards young people. His mind is always tied to human capital development and the overall prosperity of the young people.”
