Tinubu, Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso Commiserate with Davido Over Son’s Death

The four leading candidates in next year’s presidential election, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP) and Rabiu Kwankwaso of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), have condoled with popular singer, David Adeleke, and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland, over the loss of their son, Ifeanyi.
Tinubu, in a condolence message on his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday, asked that God grants Davido and Chioma the fortitude and strength to deal with this painful tragedy.
Tinubu’s tweet reads: “Oluremi and I send our heartfelt and deepest condolences to David, Chioma, and the entire Adeleke family over the tragic loss of their son, Ifeanyi. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. May the Lord grant them the fortitude and strength to deal with this painful tragedy.”
Obi also condoled with the Adeleke family, saying he felt their pains deeply.

Atiku on his part prayed for to God to give the bereaved parents the strength to bear their loss.
The PDP candidate wrote: “My thoughts and prayers are with Davido and Chioma and the Adeleke family at this time. I pray for God to strengthen and comfort them.”
Kwankwaso also prayed for the couple at this trying time.
Kwankwaso wrote “My heart and prayers go to David Adeleke @davido and Chioma, in this very trying time. May God guide and keep you through this tragic period.”
The deceased drowned in the family’s swimming pool on Monday night while his parents were on a trip to Ibadan for a family function.
The Lagos Police Command, while confirming the death of Ifeanyi, revealed that all members of Davido’s domestic staff are in their custody for interrogation.
