COVID-19: Tinubu Backs Sanwo-Olu’s Measures in Lagos, Advocates Total Lockdown if Necessary
POLITICS DIGEST – National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has expressed support for any measure deemed by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as necessary to curb the spread of coronavirus in the state, including a total lockdown.
He disclosed this on Tuesday less than 48 hours after the governor directed the state’s civil servants from levels 1 – 12 to work from home.
Tinubu spoke after a meeting with Sanwo-Olu at the State House, Marina, saying the party leadership would back the governor should he order a total lockdown.
