Tinubu Donates $100,000 for Nigerians in S/Leone’s Healthcare

The First Lady of Nigeria, Remi Tinubu, has donated 100,000 dollars to bolster healthcare delivery for Nigerians residing in Sierra Leone.
According to a Sierra Leonean newspaper, Sierraloaded, she announced the donation of $100,000 toward the establishment of a state-of-the-art medical center in Sierra Leone to enhance of healthcare facilities.

The organization’s press statement said that this contribution aligns with Senator Tinubu’s commitment to providing a first-class medical center for Nigerians in Sierra Leone.
Abiodun Oyebola, President of Nigerians in Diaspora, Sierra Leone Chapter (NIDO, SL) was said to have played a crucial role in urging Tinubu’s support. He emphasized the need for a medical facility, citing the deteriorating condition of healthcare infrastructure in Sierra Leone.
The donation of $100,000 is expected to impact the realization of the NIDO MEDICAL CENTRE, addressing the urgent healthcare requirements of more than 40,000 Nigerians living in Sierra Leone, the release said.
