2023: I will Deliver all Nigerian Youths to Tinubu – Yahaya Bello
By Ozumi Abdul
Still basking in the euphoria of his appointment as the National Youth Coordinator of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state has said that the party’s candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is well aware of his capability to mobilise the Nigerian youths for his success in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.
Bello who made this known during his appearance on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Monday added that his appointment as the APC’s Campaign Council Youth Coordinator for the 2023 presidential election is not a coincidence but based on his track record of youth friendliness.

Asked if events around the 2020 #EndSARS protests by the Nigeria youths will work against his party’s chance in the 2023 election, Governor Bello swiftly laughed off the insinuation, insisting that street protests and agitations are different from voting and electoral processes.
He recollected that he was one of the first governors that addressed the protesters to sheath their sword, especially when they were rearing their heads in his state.
“Street protests or agitations are completely different from voting or electoral processes.
“Don’t forget I was one of the first governors that addressed the protesters, and they acknowledged my presence especially in Kogi state. Even after the protests, I still engaged some of their leaders”, he said.
The Kogi governor vowed to use the same approach to galvanise the Nigerian youth to support his party’s candidate during next year’s elections.
