POLITICS DIGEST- The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barr. Nyesom Wike, has affirmed that President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda is indeed becoming a reality.
Wike made this assertion during a visit to the ongoing construction site of the Vice President’s residence on Saturday in Abuja, executed by Julius Berger.
Wike emphasized that the FCT is undergoing significant development in line with Tinubu’s agenda, with various projects set to be inaugurated to mark Tinubu’s one year in office and fulfill the President’s commitment to restoring hope to Nigerians.
Highlighting the importance of showcasing completed projects, Wike emphasized the need to demonstrate the tangible outcomes of Tinubu’s promise of renewed hope to the populace.

Regarding the location of the Vice President’s residence, Wike clarified that the Federal Government had determined the site, taking all relevant factors into account.
He mentioned that the FCT Administration had consulted the Office of the National Security Adviser and made adjustments based on their recommendations.
Addressing concerns about potential traffic congestion, Wike assured that the Federal Capital Development agency and Julius Berger were working to address any issues promptly.
Wike’s visit aimed to assess the readiness of the residence for inauguration in May, ensuring that security measures and other considerations were adequately addressed.
He reassured the public that efforts were underway to ensure the residence’s quality, security, and accessibility, making it a benchmark for excellence.
