2023: Tinubu Storms Maiduguri, Promises To Create Job Opportunities For Youth

APC presidential hopeful and former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, visited Maiduguri on Sunday evening to meet with APC delegates ahead of the presidential primary election scheduled for next weekend.
Tinubu went to the Shehu’s Palace in Maiduguri to seek fatherly blessings from the Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El’kanemi.

The Shehu told Tinubu that Borno is a state full of unemployed graduates roaming the streets, adding that his administration should provide job opportunities for them.
Tinubu thanked the Shehu for his support and blessings and promised to work towards his request if he becomes Nigeria’s next president.
Tinubu was accompanied to the Shehu’s Palace by the Governor of Borno State Professor Babagana Umara Zulum alongside Senator Kashim Shettima and other top government officials.
