Tinubu Support Group to Train 1,500 Youth On Digital Skills, Photography
POLITICS DIGEST- A youth group, ‘Tinubu Youth Mobilisation Movement’ (TIYOMM), has announced plan to train 1,500 youth on Digital Skills, Photography and Social Media Management in Kano, Jigawa and Abuja.
Abbas Badamasi, National President of TIYOMM, while disclosing the agenda of the group after its meeting in Abuja on Tuesday, said majority of the youth, especially undergraduates who are at home, will benefit immensely from the training, adding that, it will also help to reduce crime among the teeming youth.
He said: “TIYOMM is a leading support group for the All progressive Congress Presidential Candidate, (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima. From the time being, we have taken it upon ourselves to market this credible duo to Nigerians because Tinubu and Shettima have the pedigree and competence to lead Nigeria to greater heights.

“Ours is to give back to the society, let the youths have sense of belonging and preach the gospel of Tinubu. We need to let them know what the people will benefit from the Tinubu Presidency and how he will transform the country to a more productive one.
“Recently, we engaged some group of people from the remote parts of the state to sensitise them on the new electoral law and other related election matters.
“We will be training 1,500 youths on digital Skills, digital media practice, photography and social media management in Kano on 12th, Jigawa on 20th, and the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT) on the 27th of October, 2022, a program that will run for three days each.
Asked if the training is meant for only supporters or potential supporters of Tinubu, Badamasi said all young Nigerians are involved in the transparent selection process and will be trained irrespective of whether they have PVC or whether they are voting Tinubu or not.
“Our free training programme is open to all young Nigerians. It is not limited to APC supporters. This is because Tinubu does not intend to be a leader of only APC partisans. He wants to be the President of all Nigerians,” he added.
