Tinubu will Review Buhari’s Last Minute Contracts – Sen. Adeyeye

The National Coordinator of South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA), Senator Dayo Adeyeye, has hinted that the incoming President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will review all the contracts awarded in the last days of President Muhammadu Buhari in office.
He hinted this on Sunday during an appearance on Channels TV, which was monitored by POLITICS DIGEST.
Adeyeye was however quick to admit that he did not foreee much administrative disagreements between the outgoing and incoming administrations since they are of the same party.
He noted that it is important for some actions to be reviewed for the benefit of the good people of Nigerians.
“These contracts are going to be reviewed, they are going to be reexamined, assessments will be made here and there.

“But I don’t want people to read too much meanings out of this, because first and foremost it is the same APC as a party we are talking about here, it’s the same family.
“Whatever anybody is doing now, it is subject to review and reexamination for the purpose of the good people of Nigeria”, he said.
Recall that the Federal Government during its last
Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by President Buhari approved the sum of N68bn for projects.
FEC also in a previous meeting presided over by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo on April 19 approved a number of contracts.
On the issue of legitimacy, Adeyeye argued that the last presidential election was the most credible and fairest election since the beginning of the fourth republic in 1999.
He noted that the introduction of of technologies such as the BIVAS by the electoral umpire was the game changer which made election rigging extremely difficult for unpopular politicians.
He then assured that the incoming administration will hit the ground running once inaugurated on Monday.
