2023: Tinubu Woos Delta, Edo Delegates, Promises To Improve Electricity

Former Governor of Lagos State and All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential hopeful, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has met with the delegates of Delta and Edo States ahead of the presidential primary election scheduled for next weekend.
This was made public by a statement released by the Tinubu Media Office on Sunday.
Tinubu told the delegates that his administration will focus on the power sector and industrialisation to create a productive economy that will make it easy for talents to thrive.
He said: “The size of the economy is restrained by the size and capacity of our power infrastructure, for it is the ability to generate and distribute electricity that powers industrial processes and lights our households throughout the day and into the night. Sufficient power generation not only brings light into the darkness but also illuminates the path leading from poverty to prosperity, from limited growth to an unprecedented acceleration in development.”
The delegates thanked Tinubu for his remarks and assured him of their support in the primary election.
