Tony Blair Visits Tinubu Ahead of May 29 Inauguration
POLITICS DIGEST – Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Tony Blair, on Tuesday, arrived in Nigeria to hold talks with the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The president-elect made this known on his Twitter page on Tuesday.

He wrote, “I received former British Prime Minister and founder Tony Blair Institute for Good Governance, Mr Tony Blair, at the Defence House, Abuja, earlier today.
“We discussed areas of mutual interests and how Nigeria can continue to benefit from the amazing work of the Institute.”
Blair served as UK Prime Minister between 1997 and 2007.
Tinubu had also recently received a crucial diplomatic phone call from United States Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken and the two men discussed issues of similar mutual interests.
