UPDATE: Hoodlums Hijack Protest in Kano, Loot Shops

POLITICS DIGEST – The ongoing nationwide hardship protest in Kano has turned violent as hoodlums hijacked the exercise to loot shops and offices on Thursday.
While policemen succeeded in stopping looting of shops in the morning, some hoodlums succeeded in attacking shops and offices in the afternoon.
The looters were seen moving valuables, including computers, chairs, and tables from the shops.
