POLITICS DIGEST – The police fired tear gas at protesters gathered at Nyanya, close to the Abuja-Nasarawa border, to disperse a crowd demonstrating against bad governance in Nigeria.
The protesters, who were peacefully assembled, were demanding improved living conditions, better governance, and an end to corruption.
However, the police responded with force, as they fired tear gas canisters into the crowd.
