Was Dogara a Circumstantial PDP Member?, By Comr Doji Doji
POLITICS DIGEST – All politics is local, in this struggle there is no permanent enemy. Interest is the only friend.
What caught my attention in all the bickering of PDP’s stalwarts about Dogara’s exit to APC, was the Bauchi State Governor’s Chief of Staff’s incongruous tweet and malapropos style in his wording.
In his usual unceremonious manner, he called the former speaker as the “circumstantial PDP member” in a tweet. Hear him saying “Dogara out of PDP. He was a Circumstantial Member anyway…journey to dead-end.”
Dogara was a factor in PDP’s victory. Without him the party would have been in wildness. His role led PDP members to the position they are occupying today.
A typical PDP member in Bauchi, unlike an accidentally political opportunist, knows that Dogara’s exit was the worst catastrophe to their party. We see Dogara as a water, he dissolves anyone who stands on his way. We made him our enemy and he dissolved us the way water dissolve sugar.
After we handed over power to the PDP, I told my colleagues that even though Dogara slipped our legs during the election battle and put our face in the mud, I so much appreciate his tactfulness and clear-sightedness. He was a good wrestler.

We were hurt and emotionally incapacitated when Dogara hit us during campaign in 2019, but that hole is now filled with joyous celebrations when we saw him yesterday, standing by President Buhari’s shoulder, well erected and composed, set, ready and hungry like a hyena in sight of a meat waiting for 2023.
APC is now bouncing back as more and more from PDP are joining him, northeast is kicking off to restore its political moxie and prowess. It is an undisputed reality that APC is now a growing breed in Bauchi state.
We (Bauchi) are among the top three players in Nigerian politics, the outcome of 2019’s general elections in Bauchi state turned out to be uniquely different. And with Dogara as a key player among them, they gave us a tough time.
He in particular, wrestled us with iron hand in the battlefield and retired our 2019’s ambition to its unintended grave.
As 2023 smiles at us, we are waiting interestingly for time to prove to us between Dogara and those calling him circumstantial whose political journey is to the dead-end.
On a crucial note, we are calling the attention of Dogara that the time is now. There is no dillydallying in our quest to bury PDP in Bauchi state and make way to extra level come 2023.
We frowned face when Dogara smiled to PDP, and now that he frowns at PDP it is our turn to smile.
Dogara, Feel at home once again.
