Commend Kwara Must Change for advocacy_
POLITICS DIGEST- In furtherance to Kwara Must Change’s advocacy for public officials to invest faith in public institutions by enrolling their children in public institutions, the group paid advocacy visit to Hadjia Sa’adat Moddibo Kawu, the Kwara State Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development.
In a no hold bare engagement, the team led by the Convener, AbdulRazaq Hamzat explained that the group embarked on the advocacy with the intent of ensuring that public officials become number one champion of policies and programmes that are churned out to the public by the government.
In his submissions, Hamzat observed that, “there is no way the nation can move forward when those charged with the responsibility of overseeing the affairs of a section of the government apparatus wash their hands off the outcome of their activities.
Hamzat added that, the only way forward for Kwara State education is for those in charge of the day-to-day activities of the sector to enrol their children in public school and be partakers in the sharing of the accrued benefits.
