“I am the Vice Çhairman and at present the Ag. Çhairman of Teaching/Specialist Hospitals Sector of my Union – SSAUTHRIAI.
“By virtue of my current position, I am a member of the National and Sectoral Executive Committee of our Union SSAUTHRIAI.
“This position gives me the privilege of speaking for all members of our Union especially those in teaching and specialist hospitals in Nigeria.
“I am not a branch Officer of SSAUTHRIAI in UITH and thus not an executive in your local JOHESU. The question of impersonating Johesu at UITH does not arise.
“Johesu remains a marriage of convenience among registered Unions to have a weighty say before Management and the government.
“All my public views are anchored around my position as a Health Sector Vice Çhairman/Ag Çhairman of my SECTOR and not as JOHESU.
“If our Union SSAUTHRIAI in a member of JOHESU and I am a member of SSAUTHRIAI, then by implication I am a member of JOHESU and nobody can wish this away from me”.
