Young Borno Automobile Designer, PRNigeria Manager, Others Bag Arewa Under-30 Awards

A young automobile designer in Borno State, Mustapha Abubakar Gajibo, and the Manager of PRNigeria Kano Centre, Adnan Mukhtar Tudunwada, together with 28 others were honoured at the maiden Arewa 30 Under 30 Awards.
The event was organized by Arewa Agenda in collaboration with PRNigeria and DailyNigerian, to recognize 30 outstanding youths breaking grounds in education, entrepreneurship, technology, and politics, among other various fields of human endeavours.
At the awards’ ceremony in Kano yesterday, Gajibo received the ‘2022 Young Innovative Engineer’ award, while Mukhtar Tudunwada carted away the award of the ‘Young Politician of the Year ‘.
Chairman of the Panel of Judges, Dr. Kabiru Sufi Sa’ad, said the celebrants were properly assessed before their awards were conferred on them.
“I Chaired the panel of Judges and find in all the nominees a great future for Arewa Youths.”
He expressed happiness over the effort put in place by the organizers to ensure the success of the event, adding that the award is the best of its kind in the Northern region of Nigeria.

While welcoming guests to the ceremony, Dahiru Mohammed Lawal, convener of the award, said that their event is the first of its kind in the North, and was initiated to celebrate young people who are doing great work in different fields of human endeavours.
He said, “I never thought this event is going to be as competitive as it became.
“We received more than 300 entries, out of which we critically examined and came out with two finalists for each of the 30 categories.
“The finalists and winners truly deserve not only the nomination but the awards. But we had to choose one person for each category”.
In a remark after receiving his award certificate, Gajibo, said: “I am delighted to be invited and awarded for being a promising young man who is committed to solving problems that affect our country.
“I don’t live in places where there are no challenges because I believe real patriotism is proffering solutions to problems bedeviling people.
“We need to do more to encourage young people to showcase their talents in various fields.”
He promised to donate N1 million to Arewa Agenda every year to support them to sustain their 30 Under 30 Awards, and showered N100,000 to the interpreter of the event.
