2023: Young Lawyers Adopt Aiku/Okowa Ticket
A Professional Political Group –Young Lawyers for Atiku 2023 has endorsed the former Vice President and PDP Presidential Candidate , Atiku Abubakar as the best presidential material for the Saturday 25th February presidential election.
The group wished to implore all its state and local government coordinators to return to the grassroots and began mass mobilization for the election of Atiku Abubakar as the next president of Nigeria due to his past credentials as pillar of democracy, advocate of rule of law and bridge builder.
In a Press statement on Sunday in Abuja after its national executive council meeting by it Director General , Barrister Abubakar M Shehu , said the group subject all major presidential candidate to a rigorous process and find Mr Atiku Abubakar as the only candidate with the capacity , capability ,character ,competence and national appeal to lead and unite Nigeria based on his experience as the former Vice President with voluminous contribution to development of Nigeria .

Barrister Shehu noted that the excellent performance of Atiku Abubakar as the Vice president between 1999- 2007 was unprecedented since beginning of the fourth republic .Its indisputable fact that during his tenure as a vice president was the period where Nigeria recorded tremendous improvement ever in the history of Nigeria including the availability and affordability of GSM, Creation of multifarious number of basic amenities, infrastructures, Anti-Graft Agencies,debt relief among others.
He further posited stated Atiku Abubakar is a pragmatic leader that believes in positivity and the possibility of turning around things using the best brains and fixing the square pegs in a round hole as he is the only candidate that promise to set aside 10bn dollars youths funds and 40% of cabinet positions to youths/women. The young lawyers and all other public/private professionals will prosper more under the Atiku/Okowa administration .
Unifier as he is famously called is the only personality that has a large pool of admirers and support of Nigeria across the Country and has the firm belief that he will carry along and listen to the views and opinions of everybody irrespective of their divide in building the Nigerian Project when entrusted with power.
