Ekunola stated this in his congratulatory message to the new Aboro, over his triumph in the 5-year-old tussle for the revered throne of the Aboro of Ibese-land, stressing that his enthronement has brought so much joy, not only to his family and Ibese, but to the entire State and the Nation at large.
He noted that the ascension of the Aboro of Ibese to the throne of his forefathers was a confirmation of the Aboro’s good character, leadership skills, commitment, performance, humility, and sincerity to his subjects.
In view of the many events that had occurred while the Aboro interregnum lasted, especially the litigations involving family members to the throne and the misgivings these might have engendered within and outside the Oloko Ruling House to which Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero belongs, the renewed community activist (PEGA) urged the new Aboro “to be magnanimous in victory by extending your olive branch to contestants for the overall peace and progress of Ibese community.”
“May the Almighty God be with you, guide, protect, and give you wisdom to discern justice in your Kingdom,” PEGA said.
