Zulum Endorses State Attorney General as Shettima’s Replacement in Senate

The Borno State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Kaka Shehu Lawan, has been endorsed by the State Governor Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, to replace his predecessor, Senator Kashim Shettima at the National Assembly.

This was contained in a statement released by Gov Zulum’s media team on Thursday.
Zulum alongside stakeholders unanimously chose Kaka Shehu Lawan as Shettima’s replacement to represent Borno Central in the National Assembly.
Recall that the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant Ahmed Bola Tinubu recently nominated Shettima as his vice-presidential candidate in the 2023 election.
