CIBN Honours CBN’s ICT Boss, Rakiya Mohammed, with Senior Membership
The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) has announced the investiture of the Director, Information Communication Technology ((ICT) Department in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Hajia Rakiya Shuaibu Mohammed, as a honorary senior member.
The CIBN said it is honouring the CBN top shot for her dedicated service to the banking industry and the field of ICT for decades.

Hajia Rakiya is an IT and information security specialist with over 25 years’ experience of which over 15 years were in top leadership roles in CBN and other reputable organisations.
She is a Certified Enterprise and Solution Architect, Certified IT Governance (COBIT, CGEIT), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified IT Governance Professional and a Chartered Accountant (ICAN).
She has worked in various organisations spanning financial, telecommunications and technology verticals as an information technology specialist, an information security specialist, a strategist and as a professional accountant.
She graduated with a First-Class Degree in Computer Science at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University and has a Masters Degree with distinction in Information Systems Engineering at the University of Manchester.
