MAAUN Loses One of its Pioneer Lecturers, Gwarzo Condoles With Family
POLITICS DIGEST– The Management of Maryam Abacha American University of Niger (MAAUN) Maradi, has condoled with the family and friends of the late Malam Jamilu Sambo, who was a pioneer Lecturer at the Department of Sociology in the university.
Aged 54, the deceased died on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at a hospital after a brief illness.
The condolence was contained in a statement signed by MAAUN President, Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo and made available to newsmen in Kano on Friday. .

“Today we lost another gentleman,

Lecturer, Department of Sociology,
Maryam Abacha American University of Niger,” Abubakar-Gwarzo said.
Abubakar-Gwarzo, who described Malam Jamilu Gambo as a complete gentleman, prayed to Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest and the family as well as his colleagues the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The deceased, who left behind one wife and three kids, had since been buried in accordance with the Islamic rites in Kano.
