“The calendar for elections is not yet released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), therefore political players should focus on governance rather than creating unnecessary tension,” Adesina said.
“I’ve spoken with the INEC chairman this morning and he told me that the calendar for elections will only be out after the electoral bill is signed into law by the President,” he added.
He charged aspirants to be responsible and calm as the calendar for elections is not available, adding that the electoral bill will be signed in a matter of hours.
“Hours could be days but not a week,” he hinted.
